Back upwards and restore

Fill-in apps

  1. Touch the Notification bar and slide down.
  2. Tap the Settings icon.
  3. Roll down to the Personal section, and tap Backup & reset.
  4. Select Support my settings.
  5. Tap Backup account.
  6. Tap Add together business relationship.
    Note: If the desired back upwards account is already added, simply select the account and skip the remaining steps.
  7. Tap Existing to log in to an existing Google account.To create a new account now, tap New and follow the on-screen prompts.
  8. Enter your email address.
  9. Tap the Countersign field and enter your password.
  10. Tap the Next pointer.

  12. If prompted, select Non now on the Bring together Google+ screen.

Backup contacts

  1. From whatsoever Home screen, tap the Phone icon.

Restore apps

  1. Touch the Notification bar and slide down.
  2. Tap the Settings icon.

  4. If necessary, tap Backup business relationship and select or create an account.
  5. Select Automatic restore.

Restore contacts

  1. From any Home screen, tap Phone.
  2. Tap the People tab.
  3. Tap the Bill of fare icon.
  4. Tap Manage contacts.
  5. Tap Copy contacts. To use the SIM carte to restore contacts, tap Import/Export contacts and follow the on-screen prompts.
  6. Select Google.
  7. Tap Phone.
  8. Tap OK.
  9. Tap OK over again.

Restore media & pictures

  1. Connect the device to a computer using the USB cable.
  2. On the reckoner when the AutoPlay window appears, click Open device to view files using Windows Explorer. If the AutoPlay window does not appear automatically, check that the USB cablevision is completely plugged in, or try some other USB port.
  3. In the Windows Explorer window that opens, double-click the Internal storage folder.

Reset your device

A principal reset restores the original factory settings and may delete your personal data on the internal storage, such as downloads, ringtones, images, apps, contacts, and Visual Voicemail. It doesn't delete data stored on the SIM menu or SD carte du jour.

Master reset with settings menu

  1. From any Habitation screen, tap the Applications icon.
  2. Scroll to and tap Settings.
  3. Tap Backup & reset.

Master reset with hardware keys

If the device menus are frozen or unresponsive, you can master reset using hardware keys.

  3. Tap Ability off. Device contains internal bombardment. Therefore, device bombardment cannot be removed and reinserted equally part of a primary reset using hardware keys.

Plow on and connect to Wi-Fi

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Applications icon.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Wi-Fi.
  4. If necessary, tap the Wi-Fi switch to plough on.
  5. Tap the Card icon.
  6. Tap Scan.
  7. Scroll to and select the Wi-Fi network y'all want to connect to.
  8. If security is enabled, enter the password.
  9. Tap Connect.

APN settings

  1. Touch the Notification bar and slide downwards.
  2. Tap the Settings icon.
  3. Nether 'Wireless & networks,' tap Mobile data.
  4. Select Data roaming.
  5. Tap Admission signal names.
  6. If bachelor, tap the T-Mobile United states of america APN (the bullet point fills with light-green). If not available, tap the Card fundamental, then tap New APN.
    Note: To reset your APN settings, tap the Menu fundamental and and then tap Reset to default.
  7. Verify and update the following settings for the Information APN:
    • Name: T-Mobile United states of america LTE
    • APN: fast.t-mobile.com
    • Proxy: <Not prepare>
    • Port: <Not set>
    • Username: <Not ready>
    • Password: <Not set>
    • Server: <Not gear up>
    • MMSC: http://mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc
    • MMS proxy: <Not set up>
    • MMS port: <Not set>
    • MMS protocol: WAP 2.0
    • MCC: 310
    • MNC: 260
    • Authentication blazon: <Non fix>
    • APN type: <Non set> OR Internet+MMS
    • APN protocol: IPv4/IPv6
    • APN roaming protocol: IPv4
    • Enable/disable APN: <greyed out unless there are multiple APN's>
    • Bearer: Unspecified
  8. Tap the Carte key.
  9. Tap Save.
  10. Tap the desired APN profile you want to use. The bullet betoken fills with light-green adjacent to the APN profile.
